Each year, Barnsley College University Centre marks a proud milestone: the University Graduation Ceremony. This is when our higher education students receive recognition for their hard work and celebrate their academic achievements with family, friends and staff.

Our Graduation was held at the Barnsley Civic in November 2025 and was attended by our graduands, their family and friends, staff from the University Centre and dignities from the local community.

We offer university-level courses including HNC/Ds, Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), bite-size university-level modules called HN Flex, foundation degrees, degrees and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. Some courses are delivered as part of the South Yorkshire Institute of Technology (SYIoT).
